Presentation of the school
GRAIN DE SOLEIL opened its doors in January 2005, the day after the closure of French schools in Ivory Coast. I then gave myself the mission of helping to promote the teaching of the French program, in order to allow children who had not been able to leave Côte d’Ivoire to continue their education. I had in fact just lost my job as a teacher at the St EXUPERY school in Yamoussoukro, in the circumstances mentioned above.
Originally, “GRAIN DE SOLEIL” occupied premises built on 500 m² of land, located in the Allabra district of Riviera III, in the commune of Cocody…
